Position: Sr. Engineer - QS, Contracts & Billing (Construction Jobs) Project Type: Road/Highway Projects Location: Maharashtra

Job Description:

• Daily Reporting: Report to Head Office (HO) on daily tasks and achievements.
• Coordination: Work closely with Lender’s Independent Engineer (LIE) and bankers for loan approvals, site visits, and drawdown schedules.
• Rate Analysis: Perform rate analysis using actual workable rates, CoS Rate Analysis, MoRTH Standard Data Book, and RA.
• Site Coordination: Ensure timely and qualitative completion of project milestones.
• Proposal Preparation: Prepare CoS proposals based on contractual scope and review Drawings and Designs (D&D) accordingly.
• Documentation: Prepare PPTs, short notes, progress reviews, and tender costs.
• Approvals: Obtain necessary approvals such as RoB GAD, Forest Clearance, Environmental Clearance, Administrative Approval, and local permissions.
• Billing & Contracts: Scrutinize subcontractor bills, manage local issues, and ensure smooth project execution.
• Project Monitoring: Oversee all project sites, resolve issues, prepare cost estimates, and manage budgeting, costing, planning, monitoring, and cash flow.
• Drawing & Design Review: Ensure drawings and designs align with the contract.
• Correspondence: Manage daily correspondence with clients, independent engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• EOT Proposals: Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) proposals based on contract obligations and follow up for client approval.
• Higher Management Coordination: Liaise with higher management and handle local issues, political interactions, and machinery utilization.
• Meetings & Communication: Attend high-level meetings with officials such as Collectors, Commissioners, Secretaries, VIPs, and Ministers.
• Contractual Correspondence: Draft replies to contractor letters regarding performance, quality, adherence to timelines, etc.

Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in highway projects with strong computer skills and familiarity with the latest software.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Commerce graduates are also welcome for other positions.
